Condolences

Condolence From: Travon Brown
Condolence: As we approach this one year anniversary, of the home going to Our Brother Coach Qualls, I can help but think about all the good times we have had. He would always say, "I'm Nobody"... Me knowing that he was one of the Smartest Coach/Man I have ever been around, I would argue with him knowing the quality of man I had before me. Finally one day He told me his secret an old western "MY NAME IS NOBODY". He showed me a clip on YouTube, and told me to watch the movie. That night I watch the Movie and Finally got it, The character in the Movie named NoBody was the best at everything he did, but received no credit. I miss my friend deeply, but know he is watching down on us. I have on my desk a tag the reads "MY NAME IS NOBODY" 100/0. One Hundred % for everyone else zero in return. Travon Brown

Condolence: In our lives, we are impacted by so many people. These impacts are magnified when these people affect the lives of our children. Coach Qualls coached all four of our sons. They all remember and talk about him when they are together. We are so blessed to have had him in our / their lives. His spirit will live on in the lives of all the young men he so affected. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Coach's passing. He was a mentor and a friend to myself and so many others. He was a warm and thoughtful man who always asked how my dad was or how Jagger was doing. I'll always remember how he would leave popcorn balls on coach's desks for their kids on Halloween and would leave delicious confections and treats on our desks for Christmas every year...even after retirement. He made positive impacts on countless lives of his students and players and for that...he is a hero to me. I send my deepest condolences to Melissa, JB, family, and closest friends. You all are in prayers. RIP Coach Qualls. You will be missed my friend.

Condolence: I was saddened to get the call that Coach Qualls had passed. He was a great coach, mentor and friend and I will miss him. Coach Qualls took me under his wing when I came to John Tyler as a young assistant coach. I was so blessed to work with such a tremendous group of coaches, but I spent more time with Coach Qualls than any others. I learned so much from him about the X's and O's to how to treat players and get the most out of them. He was one of the best.

Condolence: To the family of Coach Qualls, how sadden we were to hear of the passing of Coach. My first coaching job was with Coach Qualls and the other coaches that came to John Tyler with Allen Wilson. No one will miss him more than you but know his legacy will live on in the lives he has touched. May God's grace and peace be with you. Kenneth and Tonia

Condolence: Robert was my first coach in the 7th grade in Paris. He went up each year with my class and helped coach us to 3 strait district championships. Later we served on the same staff togather for 10 yrs. and won a State championship together at John Tyler. Robert, Billy, myself and the rest of that incredible staff spent a lot of time togather talking football. My heart is hurting. This was truly a man that shaped my life and I loved him like a family member. Rest in peace my friend. Hardy
