Services for Larry Neal Brim, 72 of Athens, Texas will be held at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Charlie Hornes officiating. Viewing will be held at 10:00 Friday, July 7th at the church with a memorial service following at 11:00 in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Restland Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Our beloved Larry “Pop” passed away July 3, 2017. Larry Neal Brim Was an incredible son, honorable Viet Nam Veteran, devoted husband, dedicated father, and loyal friend. He will be best remembered for his strength of character, and love of faith, family, community.
Larry is survived by his loving family. He was married to his wife, Kathie for 43 years this August 31st. He left this world honored and cherished by daughter Deborah, her husband Leighton Jr., and their children Leighton III, Ashleigh, Cleigh, and Haleigh of Maple Valley, Washington. He is also preceded in death by sister Marilyn, he left behind his brother Jerry and wife Gertrude, sister Doris and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Erv Jenkins, James Jenkins, Harold Rash, Johnny Rodgers, Danny Potter, and Lacy Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be Labor of Love team members.
