Athens – Memorial Services for Arthur Hudnall, 76, of Athens will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Mike Curry officiating.

Mr. Hudnall passed away August 30, 2017 in Athens, Texas.

Arthur David Hudnall was born March 28, 1941 in Jonesville, Louisiana the son of Orin Hudnall and Grace Evelyn Readon Hudnall. He joined the Army in 1963 and was Honorably discharged in 1967 before entering public service as a Policeman where he retired after many years of dedicated work with the Dallas Police Department. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Jean White, Lessie Hudnall and five brothers, Jerry Hudnall, Steel Hudnall, Perry Hudnall, Charlie Hudnall and Butch Symmank.

He is survived by his loving wife Connie Balch Hudnall of Athens; two children, Troy D. Hudnall and wife Natale of Athens, Ty D. Hudnall of Sedona, Arizona; two grandchildren, Samuel D. Hudnall, Ian D. Hudnall both of Athens; four brothers, George Hudnall and wife Susan of Mt. Bellevue, Robert Hudnall and wife Carol of Denver, Colorado, Jimmy Hudnall of The Woodlands, Joe Symmank and wife Nita of Dayton and numerous nieces and nephews

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in his memory to Lake Athens Baptist Church.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family of Athens.
