Obituary for Anthony Dale "Andy" Barber
Funeral Services for Anthony “Andy” Barber, 55, of Tennessee Colony are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Friendship Baptist Church near Montalba with Bro. Edwin Bowman officiating and under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Barber passed away on October 14, 2017 in Tyler.
Anthony Dale Barber was born July 31, 1962 in Grand Saline, Texas the son of Frank Dale Barber and Barbara Jean Tipps Barber. He was an member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a loving and gentle man. DiDi worked all the time; whether it be at the family day Care or at his job as a Corrections Officer. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, cooking and camping with family. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all he knew and loved.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-two years Misti Farmer Barber of Tennessee Colony; two children, Zachry Barber ad Tanesha of Ithaca, New York, Natali Barber and Shane Richmon of Tennessee Colony; his mother Barbara Jean Barber of Keller; sister Renda Songer and husband Jimmy of Keller; one grandson Hadeon Ferretti Shevchenko; one grandbaby on t the way, Kiyan Anthony Wade Barber and a host of friends.
