Funeral Services for Sandra Price, 78, of Athens are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Life Fellowship Church in Athens with Pastor Mark Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Athens Cemetery under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Price went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 23, 2017 in Athens.

Sandra Lee Davidson Price was born January 19, 1937 in Athens, Texas the daughter of Arthur Davidson and Dimple Bingham Carnes Davidson. She was a member of Life Fellowship for the past year and was always very active in Sunday School and other ministries. She spent her career as a Legal Assistant working in Athens and Dallas for many attorneys and retired with E-Systems. As a young girl “Sno” loved playing baseball who was known to outhit the boys and later became active in the Republican women’s group. She loved the outdoors, skiing and sitting on the back porch swing looking out over the lake with her husband. GiGi was a loving, happy soul who always brightened the room when she walked in. She later worked alongside her husband for many years teaching gun safety and Conceal Carry Certifications. GrandMama loved spending time with her family especially her grandbabies. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Trixie Daniel and Florence Rice.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven John Price of Athens; two sons, Johnny Price and wife Carla of Waco, Jerry Price of Colorado Springs; two grandchildren, Savannah Cates and husband Shane, Luke Price and wife Lizz and three great grandchildren, Leah Price, Shyanne Cates and Skylar Cates.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 4-6:00 P.M., at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
