Athens - Funeral Services for Joyce Faye Henshaw, 70, of Athens are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Athens with Pastor Chuck Hinton officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Springs Cemetery.

Ms. Henshaw went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 12, 2018 in Athens.

Joyce Faye Grubbs Henshaw was born February 16, 1947 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Carl Stien Grubbs and Dolly Viola Locklin Grubbs. She was a loved and devoted member of the Athens Church of God who truly loved to praise and worship. She let all around her know that she was so excited that she was getting to go Home to her mansion in Heaven. She loved life, was known as a jokester and spent hours upon hours watching the Game Show Network and Lifetime Movies. MoMo was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Paul Henshaw Jr. and a grandson Shawn Wayne Baughman.

Joyce is survived by her three children, Paul Henshaw III and wife Jody of Lindale, Carol Mortiere and husband Matthew of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Patricia Phillips and fiancé William Miller of Athens; one sister Betty Grubbs of Kemp; thirteen grandchildren, Dustyn and Bonnie Baughman, Crystal and Tony Jones, Angel and Chace Pate, Paul and Jessi Henshaw, Lewis and Melissa Henshaw, Jolyn and Colby Raspberry, Helery Vance, Vanessa Reyes, Robert and Jessie Henshaw, Cassie Browning, Stephen Miller, Ryan and Elizabeth Miller, Rachel Miller; thirty- four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
