Condolence: My heart is so heavy over the passing of our dear sweet Barbara. She was always a class act and such a caring and loving friend. I have loved her and Mike since college days and so honored to be their Best Man at their wedding. I have been truly blessed by their longtime friendship. I will always hold fond memories of this genuinely kind soul. I lift up prayers of comfort for Mike and the entire family. Heaven has a beautiful and kind new angel. Love you my friend. Charlie Hanes

Condolence: Barbara was a remarkable woman. I admired her strength and loved her great sense of humor. She’s the only person I know that would let me get away with drawing a huge picture of Snoopy in magic marker on the side of her house simply because she knew Michael was bound to do something just as bad at my house sooner or later. So many great memories. I am better for knowing her. She will forever hold a place in my heart.

Condolence: I am greatly saddened upon hearing of the passing of Barbara Rounsavall Green and extend my sincere condolences to her loving husband, Mike, and to her family members. Barbara was a lovely individual, and my memories of her stretch back to our childhood years in Athens, Texas, but my fondest memories are of the many months in the late 1960's when she was a student at Henderson County Junior College (HCJC) and worked as a Student Assistant in my Student Union Office. She was a charming, attractive, and very willing worker and was of great help to me and my secretary, Ruby Martin. It was during this time that she met Mike Green, fell in love with him and he with her, and eventually became his wife. I know that Mike and his and Barbara's children, grandchildren, and her brother and sister will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers are with them; Barbara will long be cherished and remembered by her many friends - especially those who knew her from her Athens and HCJC years.
